CTFLC Family Picnic 2015
CTFLC welcomed the second time of recreation at The Admiral Baker Field in San Diego on Sunday, 12th July. This time it was more of a family bonding creating a relaxing camaraderie among ourselves. Late in the morning, President-Elect Myrna Ablana presided a short meeting updating membership of current workshops and conferences. After the meeting, Ms. Ablana recognized the outstanding efforts of Maria Fontimayor, Grace Almazar, Maria Antoinette Melero who were in-charge of the Social Committee. She presented them with bubble wands symbolizing happiness they spread as leaders of Social Committee. Finally, we joyfully acknowledged the June birthday celebrants, namely Blanca Villanueva, Virgie Ferrer, and Cory Simpson (who wasn’t able to join us). Virgie’s niece crooned the birthday celebrants. In addition, Myrna and spouse, Digno, rendered a timeless song of love and commitment - a reflection of this wonderful couple. On the table, we spread our sumptuous meal and shared it with gust
