Election of Officers Come Christmas Party Fellowship 2010
“Thank you for another fun Christmas celebration we had – the food, the gifts, the games, the camaraderie, and the laughter,” quipped Dr. Cristeta Dumaran, retired English language/ Filipino teacher at Sweetwater Union High School. Indeed, Dr. Dumaran captured in a nutshell, the essence of our culminating activity for 2010 held last 18th of December and hosted yearly by Dr. Estela Matriano and Ms. Carole Caparros at their cozy residence in San Diego. To arm ourselves before our fun activities, we feasted on a sumptuous dinner consisting of kare-kare, litsong kawali, lumpiyang shanghai, sariwang lumpia, among other dishes. Ate Carole shared her warm apple cider drink with a hint of cinnamon. The filling and delicious Filipino food brought the spirit and tradition of a true Pinoy Christmas gathering.
